Odoo berechnet Variantenpreise als Vorlagenpreis plus Attributzuschläge. Für viele Händler zu unflexibel – sie brauchen individuelle Preise pro Variante.

Product Variant Price

Product Variant Price – Direct List Price per Variant

Odoo 19 Sales Products

Enables direct list price entry per product variant – without dependency on template price + attribute surcharge. Ideal for products where each variant requires an individual price.

Features

Direct Price per Variant List price is stored directly on the variant, independent of the template price.
Opt-in per Product Activated via toggle – only affected products are switched. All other products remain unchanged.
Automatic Initialization On activation, all variants are automatically pre-filled with the current template price.
Standard Odoo Preserved Without activation, the standard Odoo logic continues to apply: template price + attribute surcharge.

Usage

1 Enable direct price

Open product → tab "General Information" → section "Variant Pricing" → enable toggle "Set Price Directly per Variant".

All variants are immediately initialized with the template price.

2 Set price per variant

Click "Product Variants" button at the top → open a variant → enter "Variant Price".

Alternatively: Edit all prices directly in the table in the variant list view.

Technical Details

  • Overrides _compute_product_lst_price() and _set_product_lst_price()
  • No interference with pricelist logic or other price calculations
  • Backward compatible: existing products without activation work unchanged
  • Dependencies: product, sale_management
